On October 27th, the Student Council hosted a Blood Drive through the American Red Cross, collecting 41 pints.

This exceeded the council’s goal of 35 pints.

There is a huge need for blood right now! The American Red Cross is in dire need to replenish their current supply. Twenty-five percent of people need some kind of blood donation in their life. This is very important because you don’t know if that would ever be you or someone you love. One donation can save up to three lives!

If you are interested in registering to donate blood at a future drive, go to the redcross.org website. Next, you will click on give blood tab and then click find a blood drive. Then, you will enter your zip code (62233) and find the nearest location. Pick your time slot!
