Chester had its season end in the Carterville Regional semi-finals, losing to Pinckneyvile 25-12, 25-18 on Oct. 26.
Pinckneyville will play Carterville Thursday in the regional title game.
Eighth-seed Chester posted a minor upset over seventh-seed Murphysboro with a 25-22, 17-25, 25-19 win on Oct. 25.
