Chester High School’s Environmental Club is participating in a non-profit fundraiser (Team Seas) to help clean up the planet’s oceans and major rivers. Team Seas is a collaborative fundraiser run by YouTubers MrBeast and Mark Rober to raise $30,000,000 to clean up 30,000,000 pounds of debris from the ocean. Although they have already achieved the goal of raising the money they are continuing to collect money to remove even more trash. Each 5th hour classroom will compete in a penny wars challenge to raise more money for this fundraiser. The class with the most funds will win a prize. The fundraiser will take place the first two weeks of February.
