The Chester Yellow Jackets Girls’ Golf Team started their season 2-2 with wins over Steeleville and Cobden.

The girls opened up their season at home on August 16th against Gibault and Steeleville. The girls shot a team score of 205, beating Steeleville but losing to Gibault (198). Camryn Luthy medaled and led the Jackets with a round of 41, 5 over par (+5). Other Varsity Chester scores as followed: Aubrie Medford 44 (+8), Macy Bert 53 (+17), Rylie Myers 67 (+31), Addy Gottschammer 70 (+34), and Riley Lochead 75 (+39).

The girls played their second match of the year at home on August 18th against Ziegler-Royalton and Cobden. The girls shot a team score of 198, beating Cobden but losing to Gibault (194). Aubrie Medford medaled and led the Jackets with a round of 41 (+5).
