The Chester Yellow Jackets lost to Freeburg 28-6 on September 9in Freeburg.
Chester played well, but couldn’t quite get the job done.
Zain Al-Jassim led Chester’s productive offense, throwing for 256 passing yards and one touchdown.
Kolton Jany had 36 rushing yards and 5 receptions for 72 receiving yards, Devante Palacio had 7 receptions for 122 yards, and Gage Hopkins had 3 receptions for 45 yards and 1 receiving touchdown.
Chester’s defense played well, but couldn’t quite hold them. Shane Bicket had 5 solo tackles and 6 total tackles, Matt James had 4 solo tackles and 5 total tackles, Caden Brunkhorst had 4 tackles, Kolton Jany had 3 solo tackles and 5 total tackles, and Trenton Eggemeyer had 2 solo tackles and 6 total tackles.
Chester (0-3) hosts Sparta Friday.
