The Chester Yellow Jackets Girls’ Golf Team sits at a 13-13 record with a 6th place finish at the Okawville Invitational Tournament and a win over Sparta.

The Chester Yellow Jackets Girls’ Golf Team traveled to Nashville on Aug. 31 to take on Nashville and Salem. The Chester Girls shot a team score of 198, falling just short of Nashville (193), and Salem (176) Camryn Luthy and Aubrie Medford led the Yellow Jackets with scores of 44, 8 over par, (+8) Other Varsity Girls Scores as followed, Macy Bert 50 (+14), Riley Lochead 60 (+24), Jessie Stumpe 67 (+31), and Addy Gottschammer 75 (+39).

The Lady Jackets took on Sparta at home on Sept. 6. The Lady Jackets shot a team score of 211, beating Sparta (259) by 48 strokes. Camryn Luthy led the team and was medalist with a round of 41, 5 over par, (+5). Other Varsity Girls Scores as followed, Aubrie Medford 49 (+13), Macy Bert 58 (+22), Addy Gottschammer 63 (+27), Rylie Myers 68 (+32).

The Lady Jackets traveled to Okawville to compete in the Okawville invitational. The Lady Jackets shot a team score of 389, finishing 6th out of 11 teams. Camryn Luthy led the Yellow Jackets and placed 4th individually with a score of 82 (+11) Other Varsity Girls Scores as followed, Aubrie Medford 95 (+24), Macy Bert 95 (+24), Addy Gottschammer 117 (+46), and Riley Lochead 127 (+56).

The Lady Jackets traveled to Red Bud to take on Red Bud and Father McGivney. The Girls shot a team score of 201, falling just short of Red Bud (193), and Father McGivney (191). Aubrie Medford led the Lady Jackets with a score of 41 (+6) Other Varsity Girls Scores as followed, Macy Bert 47 (+12), Camryn Luthy 48 (+13), Rylie Myers (+30), Addy Gottschammer 67 (+32).
