The Yellow Jackets improve to 3-2 on the season with win over Johnston City.

The Yellow Jackets football is now a game over 500 after beating Johnston City last Friday night. The boys again had a strong dominate first half ending the half with a 20 point lead. Meyer was 3-6 passing for 57 yards and a touchdown. He also led the team with 13 carries for 87 yards. Bert had 9 carries for 34 yards and Ethan Rayburn had a 94 yd kickoff return on the night. The final score of the game was 28-20.

Volleyball

The Lady Jackets volleyball beat Trico 21-15, 21-11 last Thursday, but lost to Sparta 21-18, 22-20 finishing third in the Trico tournament.

Tuesday they played Sesser resulting in a loss to drop them to 5-2 in the conference.
