The goal was 35 pints. There were five deferrals.
Students 17 and older can use the Red Cross website to schedule appointments to donate. Students signed up with student council members during 8th hour study hall on Monday, October 24, in Juergens Gym.
Donors are encouraged to follow the guidelines on how to safely give blood. Make sure to get a full night’s rest, stay hydrated, and eat a good meal before and after you give blood.
