Chester Drops Pink-out Game

Chester fell to Trico in the annual Pink-Out Game.

Chester varsity volleyball lost to Trico 23-25, 26-24, 20-25.

This was the annual pink-out games. The team sold pink t-shirts to raise funds to battle breast cancer. Chester dropped to 5-3 in the BDC.

On Monday, the Lady Jackets lost to Steeleville in a three-game battle, 17-25, 25-22, 25-27. The deciding game was extended to tiebreaker points.

Chester fell to 12-9.

“Passing was better, but goodness, our hitting game was not on tonight,” Coach Norman said. “we definitely had to battle for the ball!”

Josie Kattenbraker held it down with several hard digs from Steeleville’s heavy hitter, while Carlee Weir kept her cool behind the service line and hustled everywhere to set up a play. Lauren Welge lead our hitting crew with 4 kills and 1 ace.
