The Chester High School Scholar Bowl Team opened its season by placing third at the Marion Scholar Bowl Tournament on Nov. 19.
Scholar Bowl team members who went to the tournament were Will Welge (Team Captain), Cesar Marquez, Chase Gilbert, Rylie McDonough, Ash Pfeiffer, Nico DeGuzman, Ary Shipley, and Erin Leifer. Two members of the Scholar Bowl team were unable to attend due to other commitments.
Rylie McDonough was recognized for having the second highest point total at the tournament.
