Unmourned Constellation

Ace Smith, Editor

No one to remember my name, I’m forever a John Doe
A grave unmourned, a song unsung
My life is nothing but a memory to which it belongs to no one
My fate yet sealed within the fabrics of time

Yet I have feeling, unusual in nature
That too, my soul, is lost in time
Intertwined with my constellation
Will I ever be a man worthy of a star?

A corpse inside a star with my beloved Jane
She too, will sit next to me
My wife of death
Where both of us will never rest
