Three Chester High School seniors earned all-conference honors in basketball.
Chance Mott and Gavin Schroeder each earned all-conference for boys basketball in the Cahokia Conference Illinois division.

Camrynn Howie also earned all-conference for girls basketball in the Cahokia Conference Illinois division.
Chester Yellow Jackets Basketball comes to an end for the 2022-2023 school year as the Freshmen and Sophomores finish 5th place in the Murphysboro Tournament. Devante Palacio and Kolton Jany finished on the 1st team all-tournament. Cayden Brunkhorst was an honorable mention to the all-tournament team.

Along with these awards, Gavin Schroeder was invited to play in the 44th annual Lions Club All-Star Classic @ Rend Lake College.
