During the week of Oct. 14, Mrs. Petrowske’s foods class held a competition to see who could make the best decorated skull cake. After 3 laborious days of baking the cake, frosting it, and decorating it, the class quickly realized how difficult decorating a cake was. Most students in the class didn’t believe that they even had a chance to win, including the winning team. That team was the green kitchen and were very pleased to hear of the win. The winners received a traveling trophy along with bragging rights until the next competition will take place. Congratulations to the green kitchen!
