Girls 2nd, Boys 6th At Buzz Bradley

The Chester girls placed second and the boys sixth at the Buzz Bradley Track Meet on April 21 in Sparta.
The girls accumulated 70 points, trailing only Father McGivney’s 86 points. The boys had 32.5 points. Herrin won with 90 points.
For the girls, Jessica Stump won the pole vault.
Finishing second were Briley Miles in discus and Paige Vasquez in shot put.
Placing third were Gianna Eggemeyer in the 400, Addie May in the 1600, Jazzi Meredith in the 100 hurdles and Emma Eggemeyer in the shot put.
For the boys, the 4×400 relay of Gabe Coffman, Blake Farmer, Will Schuwerk and Jacob Handel placed second.
Coffman was third in the 800, Shane Bicket third in discus and Lannin Caron third in pole vault.
The Chester boys and girls track team hosted the Rocky Bridges home meet on Tuesday, April 19th.
The boys team finished first and the girls team finished second.
Will Schuwerk placed third in the 100 meters. Aubrey Coleman placed second in the 100 meters and the 200 meters. In the 400 meters, WIll Schuwerk placed second while Jacob Handel placed third. Gabe Coffman placed second in the 800 meters. Jazzi Merideth placed second in the 100 meter hurdles and third in the 300 meter hurdles. Gabe Steele placed second in the 300 meter hurdles.
The girls 4×100 meter relay and 4×400 meter relay placed second. The girls 4×200 meter relay placed first. The boys 4×400 meter relay and 4×800 meter relay placed first. The girls old SMR 100-100-200-400m relay placed first.
Paige Vasquez placed second in shot put and third in triple jump. Shane Bicket placed first in shot put and discus. Briley Miles placed third in the discus. Erin Liefer placed second in high jump. Bethany Baughman placed first in the pole vault. Jessie Stumpe placed second in long jump. In the boys pole vault, Lannin Caron placed first and Ivan Hobbs placed second.
