On April 18th, the students of Chester High School were trying to log onto Spotify to listen to music while doing classwork. However, whenever anyone would attempt to open Spotify it would not load, or it would say “This site cannot be reached.”

Not even the teachers understand what’s happening, so why is this happening? Is it possible the administrators found a way to keep students from opening Spotify without actually blocking the site? Once we asked around, somebody reported that when they took their chromebook home and connected to their home wi-fi, Spotify was working perfectly fine.

Does this mean that they did find a way to keep people off? What is the reason? Emails have been sent to admin to see if we can understand why Spotify is being blocked or if it will be unblocked in the future. Hopefully, there will be news in the future and that it’ll be good news.
