On Friday night the Yellow Jackets boys basketball team took on the Trico Pioneers at home and won 60-25.

Chester jumped out to a five-point lead after the first quarter, leading 13-8. The Yellow Jackets lead continued to grow throughout the second quarter as they lead 29-15 going into halftime. The Yellow Jacket basketball team outscored Trico in the third quarter 18-6 to take a 47-21 lead. Chester continued its offensive tear in the fourth quarter scoring 13 points to wrap the game up with a 60-25 win. Keith Kiner III led the team in scoring with 21 points followed by Ian Reith who scored 14. 

On Saturday afternoon the Yellow Jackets dropped their game at Carbondale. The team lost 60-37.
