Yellow Jackets Win C.I.T for the First Time in 43 Years.

The Yellow Jackets basketball team defeated the Cobden AppleKnockers on Wednesday night. The Jackets lead 20-11 after the first quarter. They outpaced the AppleKnockers again in the second quarter 13-10. The Yellow Jackets had the 33-21 going into the half. The Jackets maintained their fast pace of play in the third quarter leading by a score of 42-33. However the AppleKnockers battled back closing the lead to four points with a little over four minutes left in the game. The Jackets then quickly regained control of the game slowing down not only the Cobden offense, but the pace of the game as well. The Jackets won the game 52-45. This backed by strong performances from both Keith Kiner III and DeOndre Martin who scored in double digits Wednesday night.
