The Yellow Jackets remained perfect in conference play with a 67-26 win over Christopher on Feb. 5.

Keith Kiner III posted a triple-double as Chester improved to 22-5, 9=0 in the Black Diamond Conference. Kiner had 20 points, 11 rebounds and ten blocked shots. Colin Wingerter added 18 points, including five three-pointers. Ian Reith was also in double figures with 13 points.

Chester beat Goreville 72-48 Jan. 29.

Goreville remained close against Chester after the first quarter trailing by only 1 point. The Yellow Jackets outscored the Blackcats 23-8 in the second quarter to take a 40-24 lead into the half. The Jackets maintained their lead through the third quarter leading 57-40. The Yellow Jackets outscored the Blackcats again in the fourth quarter 15-8 to win the game.

Kiner led the team in scoring with 21 points followed by Wingerter with 19.

Chester traveled to Vienna Feb. 1 and won 60-38 to improve to 8-0 in conference, 21-5 overall. The Yellow Jackets fell behind early trailing 15-9 after the first quarter of play. Chester then took an 8 point lead into the half leading 29-21. The Jackets never looked back winning the game 60-38.

Drake Bollman lead the team in scoring with 20 points on the night followed by Colin Wingerter with 15.
