I am a sophomore at Chester High school. I am hoping to start doing Poem of the Month every month. I am starting to really get into making poems, because it helps me express my emotions and go through what I am going through.

I wanted this poem to be friendly to all ages so I didn’t make it horror for only teens. I made it for smaller kids and it is for all ages. It’s about the night of Halloween.

Halloween Night
This month is October
It’s the spookiest time of the month
on the 31st we have lots of fun
We scare people
Dress up in scary outfits and have fun
Kids of all ages stay up late
Go house to house and get candy
Just be careful of what you say
Or you might get a trick instead of a treat
Have a happy Halloween
Don’t let the tricks scare you off
