The Chester High School Scholar Bowl team attended the Black Diamond Conference tournament on Monday, Jan. 28, at John A. Logan College.

They competed against Christopher; unfortunately, Chester lost in overtime. Chester also went against Goreville and won in impressive fashion. Senior Scholar Bowl member Elizabeth Soellner tied for a place in the all-conference team. Chester placed 5th in their pool.

Brooke Frazer, Jaci South, Elizabeth Soellner, Melody Colonel and Wes Carpenter represent Chester at the BDC Scholar Bowl tournament.
