Meet Cocoa, she is a Red Heeler (also known as an Australian Cattle Dog) who keeps the Krieg family on their toes. From the very beginning, she was a pistol! When they first got her, and for about her first year of life, Cocoa was quite the handful—so energetic that she barely even allowed her family to pet her at times. Now at 2 years old, Cocoa has truly grown into the sweetest girl. She absolutely loves her people and is incredibly loyal to her family. While she loves to growl and bark, she is just as loving at the same time. Cocoa is a fierce protector and a wonderful dog all around.
She is also a great big sister to the family’s other dog, Ellie, who is just 1 year old. Both dogs have unlimited energy and love to play, especially outside, where they enjoy roughhousing together. Cocoa has matured so much over time, and while walks can still be a bit of a challenge, she has proven herself to be an amazing and beloved part of the family.
