The CHS Dance Team will be performing next week at Southern Illinois University’s (SIUC’s) Men’s basketball game. This basketball game will be played against the University of Northern Iowa. Ticket Information – K-12th grade students can find their tickets in Section 113 (located on the home side bench behind the basket). These tickets will be listed as $5. For other coaches and daily members this event cost will be $10. For closer seats they can be purchased for $20. Any person who wishes to get other seats can go to the SIUC ticket website and purchase their full prized tickets.

Performance Time – The Performance by the Dance team will be performed at Halftime. This routine was initially created by 2 coaches from Code Red Dance Team in Indiana. This routine was given permission to be used by anyone who was there at their dance camp, in which a few chester girls visited. Dance Senior Captain Annah Helvey Ahring took this opportunity to take this routine, change many things, and make it into her own as well with the help of it’s original choreography. This routine’s performance music is called “Hey Baby (Drop it to the floor)” By Pitbull.
