Hi my name is Amelia Terry and I got into poetry in 6th grade when I wrote my mom a poem for Mother’s Day. I’ve been writing more since then and wanted to start sharing my talent with other people. So I hope you guys enjoy my poetry as much as I do.

This poem is about my love for my boyfriend, this poem is explaining my love for him. I thank him everyday for loving me like no other. And I wanted to write this for him to show him that I really am thankful to have him in my life.

Always Loved

When I think of you I know I´m always loved
When you hug me tight I know I´m always loved
When you tell me it´s okay, I know I´m always loved
Even in my darkest days, I know I´m always loved

You help through everything even if I don´t ask
When I cry, you wipe my tears
When I´m sick, you bring me gifts
Even when I need to speak, you listen to me

To say I don´t feel loved is a lie
Now that I know that you´re always by my side
Even through thick and thin, I know I´m always loved
You may give me a hard time sometimes,
but that doesn´t stop me from loving you

So if I need to say it one more time
When I´m hurt, you ask if I´m okay, so I know I´m always loved
When I´m stressed you ask if I need something, so I know I´m always loved
You wrap me in a blanket when I´m cold, so I know I´m always loved

When I´m sad, we watch my favorite childhood show
We watch movies together, when it snows
We drink hot chocolate when its cold
You hold me tightly when I need you most

So this is telling you, I know how hard you try to be a good boyfriend
I know that you´ll be a grown man sooner than I think
Looking back at the beginning of us I´m so grateful to have you
So this is me noticing that no matter what, I know I´m always loved by you
