February’s Teacher of the Month is Mr. Wiegand. He teaches Intro to Agriculture, Construction, Plants and Animals Science, and Mechanics. He enjoys working in agriculture and with the FFA.

The FFA is a nonprofit student organization that supports agricultural education. Wiegand has been dedicated to the program throughout his life and helps his students get involved with the organization. His passion for the FFA has taken him far in the community. The most exciting experience he has had within the program is travel to Japan for three weeks. Wiegand believes the new generation of FFA members faces big and exciting challenges ahead of them. He also said that if he had the chance, he would serve as the National Secretary of Agriculture, which is a huge responsibility.

Wiegand’s inspiration in life is the promotion of agriculture and helping his students find success in their lives. We can all take a little inspiration from the dedication Wiegand has put into agriculture throughout his life.
