This February has been a chilly and stressful month, but the students of CHS have kept the mood up with their positive, hardworking attitudes. This month, five students were singled out by staff for these attitudes and their shining personalities. Each of these students has had moments when we noticed their kindness, even when no one was watching.

CHS would like to personally thank Riley Lochhead, Lauren Cowell, Erin Liefer, Maci Ahring, and Megan Zimmer for always trying their hardest in every situation, no matter the reward. With assignments piling up, extracurriculars taking after‑school time, and personal matters to manage, it’s hard to keep up with everything, but these five students show us it’s possible to do all of these things, keep their spirits up, and be ready to help others whenever they are needed. They show us the amazing, kind people who are growing and being taught at CHS.

We could all learn something from these five, and CHS is excited to watch them grow and learn even more. Next time you see any of these students, tell them “thank you” or “good job.” One compliment can make all the difference, it might even make their day!
