Isabel Smith a Junior at Chester High school decided to submit her book Tomorrow Will Be Better by Betty Smith.

This book is historical fiction and centers on coming of age, young love and marriage, overcoming poverty and hardships, and believing in second chances. Young Margy Shannon hopes for a better life than her parents have. Fearing living a life of hardship, Margy dreams about getting a well paying job, a loving husband and a well established household.

Isabel found this Historical fiction novel at Barnes & Noble. Isabel said the reason why she loves this book is “I love how mysterious it is, and I love how it’s written in general.” Another fun fact about Isabel is where she loves to read she responded with “Either in my car or outside on my back porch”.
