The magic of “Be Our Guest” reached its enchanting crescendo this past Saturday night as Chester High School transformed Juergens Gymnasium into a ballroom fit for a fairy tale. After a week of spirited celebrations and anticipation, the wait is finally over: the 2026 Prom Royalty has been officially crowned.
The evening was expertly guided by Kannon Jany, who served as the Master of Ceremonies. With poise and enthusiasm, Jany took to the microphone to announce the court, building the excitement for the final reveal.
Taking center stage as this year’s Prom King and Queen are Isaac Sims and Camryn Wolff. The senior duo was selected from a distinguished group of nominees, including Ethan Colvis, Brayden Juenger, Annah Helvey-Ahring, and Addison Gottschammer.
Representing the junior class, the titles of Prince and Princess were awarded to Karim Landeros and Aubrey Colvis, who won their titles alongside fellow court members Zane Eggemeyer and Aleah Eggemeyer.
Under the dedicated guidance of Student Council Co-Sponsors Adrianne Kern and Erin Conley, student volunteers spent the week meticulously decorating the gym to bring the “Be Our Guest” theme to life. The hard work paid off as the doors opened at 7:00 p.m., welcoming students to a night of elegance.
The evening’s highlight occurred during the 9:00 p.m. Coronation Ceremony, where the public joined the student body to witness the official crowning. The energy in the room was a perfect reflection of the high-spirited dress-up days that fueled the halls of CHS all week long.
As the clock struck 10:00 p.m. and the music faded, the 2026 Prom concluded, leaving the students with memories of a truly magical evening.
Congratulations to our new royalty and the entire court. This year’s celebration was a testament to the school spirit and hard work of the Chester High community.
