My grandma inspired me and the poem means a lot to me. I heard many stories of moms and their kid(s) and being able to spend a lot of time together. I would like the readers to know that every woman, your mom or not, is very important in life, even if you don’t realize it.
Life Just Began
What? You’re pregnant?
Omg, congratulations!
I’m so happy for you
So, do you know how many you have?
No? That’s okay.
Life just began
Before you even knew it,
your mom already loved you
Life just began
And now you’ve taken your first breath
Once you are in your mother’s hands,
she knew, you were special
You are first born, first everything,
and especially her first love
When she saw your eyes, she fell deeply in love
Now that she has you in her arms,
she promised that nothing bad will ever happen
Life just began
You took your first breath
You had your first cry
And now, you are home
She watched you grow up, and take your first everything as you grew
And before you know it,
your baby is telling you “Happy Mother’s Day”
with the biggest smile
while holding a handmade card
that was drawn on and colored in
Life just began
With a smile on your face, you know you did it
Happy Mother’s Day to all moms with a child or not
