Chester beat Sparta 3-2 in a non-conference baseball game March 27.

In a close game against the Bulldogs, the Yellow Jackets pulled through to improve to 5-4 on the year. The Jackets collected 13 hits on the night, but were only able to scratch across 3 runs. Ethen Eggemeyer struck out 13 batters in 6 innings of work. He also collected a hit, scored a run, and drove in one. Chett Andrews was 2-4 on the day with an RBI.

Michael Wingerter had two hits in Chester’s 3-2 win over Sparta.
