This year, the Chester Chapter of the FFA was brought to Chester High School.

Mr. Meltzer, the agriculture teacher at CHS, brought awareness to this organization in every one of his classes and introduced it to the students. Every student enrolled in an agriculture class is now counted as a member of the FFA unless otherwise requested. An opportunity to become an officer of the FFA Chapter was provided in late 2018 to everyone interested. From this, Jared McCormick, Sam Eggemeyer, Lauryn Vasquez, and Jessica Handel have been named officers.

Meetings are held in the early morning hours before school where many agriculture causes are discussed. This FFA Chapter believes it is important to raise awareness about agriculture and its surrounding aspects. Many exciting things are currently in the works that could include an even wider audience.
