Seniors Honored At Last Home Game
Seniors honored at the last Chester home game were players Chett Andrews, DeOndre Martin and Ian Reith; and cheerleaders Amira Al-Jassim, Jessica Handel and Ashtyn Jany.

All three seniors on the Yellow Jacket basketball scored in double figures Feb. 18 as Class of 2020 participants in boys’ basketball, band, dance and cheerleading were honored at the Senior Night game against Goreville.
Unfortunately, Chester lost to Goreville 65-57.
DeOndre Martin, Chett Andrews and Ian Reith scored 14 points each as the seniors led the Jacket attack. Jordan Hughes added seven points, Nate Heffernan five and Jared Landeros three.
Chester is 8-3 in the Black Diamond Conference, 18-11 overall.
The Jackets travel to Sesser Friday and Sparta Saturday to finish the regular season. Chester is the sixth seed and plays Du Quoin Monday in the Murphysboro Regional.
Also honored on Senior Night were Chester’s nine Illinois State Scholars.
