Seniors Present Research Storybooks At CGS
Ciontae Monroe and Lyz Mitchell present the storybooks they developed from their research papers to students at the Chester Grade School.

Students in Mrs. Hammel’s Language Arts IV class visited Chester Grade School March 5 to lead a story time of their own compositions.
The students had finished a research paper for Mrs. Hammel where each one wrote about an influential person. As a follow-up assignment, they used that material to write storybooks geared towards third graders.
The students presented the storybooks to the third graders, then joined the youngsters during recess.
In addition to having their research papers graded by Mrs. Hammel, th seniors had their storybooks assessed by their third grade audiences.
