Coach Jennifer Hittmeier King & Coach Pat Knowles
April 29, 2020
The Chester Lady Yellowjackets had a record-setting season in 2019-20, but the accomplishment now stands as a memorial for two beloved coaches in the CHS family.
Coach Pat Knowles passed away Wednesday at his home. Members of the Lady Yellowjackets were able to organize a car parade past his home Tuesday night after their coach was returned from a St. Louis hospital.
Earlier this year, the team lost JV Coach Jennifer Hittmeier King after her long battle with cancer.
Coach Knowles’ final season was a memorable one as the team won a school-record 26 games. The Lady Jackets also won the Lady Jackets Mid-Winter Classic and the Sparta Invitational Tournament.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing, he was such a good man. I went to school in the same grade with Jonathan, prayers and sympathy with the family

What a loss for CHS. Our thoughts and prayers for the families and all the athletes who were touched by Pat and Jennifer. We know they are resting in the palms of His hands.
