Oddessy Flores prepares to perform as Chester musicians took their classes outdoors Sept. 24.

Melody Colonel, Editor

As everyone is making changes, whether inside the classroom or in typical everyday life, Mr. Colonel has found a new way to keep music in front of his students.

At the beginning of the school year, Mr. Colonel ordered many different face masks and bell covers that students could use, while still following COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Since the quantity of the masks and covers are so high, Mr. Colonel thought of a new way to rehearse! By going outside, the CHS Band can rehearse, in their respective class periods, for the first time in six months. While the situation is not ideal, it is a light in the dark for many band students!
