Organization Welcomes All Students

A sign-up meeting for Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) will be held after the 7th hour, Friday, Feb. 5, in Mrs. Belton’s room.
Head advisor for SADD, Erin Belton, considers herself as a facilitator for the club and overlooks all activities run by the officers. The main SADD activity is Red Ribbon Week, but due to COVID 19, it was cancelled during the month of October.
“The goal for SADD,” says Mrs. Belton, “is to encourage students to make positive choices for themselves.”
Although a small club, Mrs. Belton plans to have upcoming projects for the club and encourages everyone to join.
“And to freshman,” she adds, “Our goal is to help students to avoid peer pressure and think for themselves to make more positive decisions. If you are interested in trying something new, don’t be afraid to join!”
For further information, contact Mrs. Belton in room 216.
