The Chester Lady Yellow Jackets won their first game of the season with a 5048 overtime win at Sesser-Valier Feb. 12.

Josie Kattenbraker scored six of her 16 points in overtime to lead Chester. Reese Chandler also scored 16 points. Kendall Williams netted eight points, Kailyn Absher five, Alyssa Seymour three and Katie Shinabarger two.

Chester (1-2) played another overtime road game Feb. 13, losing to Goreville 46-43. Seymour led Chester with 15 points. Chandler scored 13, Kattenbraker nine, Williams four and Absher two.

The Lady Jackets opened their season with a 60-29 loss at Vienna Feb. 6.

Alyssa Seymour led Chester with 13 points. Josie Kattenbraker was also in double figures with ten points. Kailyn Absher scored four points and Kendall Williams two.
