The Chester Yellow Jackets won its home opener with a 73-49 win over Trico Feb. 12.

Jared Landeros led the Jackets (3-2) with 20 points. Matt Korando was also in double figures with 13 points. Gavin Schroeder scored eight points and Nathan Heffernan seven. Jordan Hughes and Trace Fricke had six points each. Jordan Merideth tallied five points and Eli Hughes four. Aiden Jany and Chance Mott had two points each.

Chester lost to Sesser-Valier 53-51 on Feb. 13.

Landeros led Chester with 15 points. Jordan Hughes was also in double figures with 13 points. Merideth and Heffernan scored six points each. Eli Hughes tallied five, Schroeder four and Korando two.
