The Chester girls basketball team won an away game against sparta 47-36 on March 9.
One Lady Jacket scored in the double digits, Kendall Williams with 17. She was followed by Reese Chandler and Camrynn Howie with 9 each, Katie Shinabargar with 5, Alyssa Seymour 4, Peyton Clendenin 2, and Josie Kattenbraker 1.
The team played well against Sparta, but in the second half they ramped it up. In the last quarter, they only allowed 4 points from Sparta.

Chester ended its season with 55-47 win over Wesclin. Kattenbraker led the Lady Jackets with 15 points. Williams scored 13 and Chandler 11. Seymour, Kailyn Absher and Howie tallied for each. Shinabargar scored one.

Chester lost to Nashville 52-29 on March 10. Williams and Seymour scored seven each. Chandler scored six. Absher and Howie had four points each and Kattenbraker one.

The Lady Jackets finished the season 6-8. They were 4-6 in the Black Diamond Conference, finishing in fourth place.
