The Black Diamond Conference champion Chester Lady Yellow Jackets were recognized prior to their win over Trico on April 22.

Chester improved to 18-1 overall and an undefeated 12-0 in Black Diamond Conference play after sweeping Trico 25-20, 25-19 April 22 on Senior Night.

Chester beat Goreville 25-19, 25-17 on April 20.
The Lady Jackets defeated Christ Our Rock 25-18, 25-11 on April 16.
Reese Chandler registered eight kills, ten digs and five aces. Lauren Soellner had two blocks and Kendall Williams dished out 15 assists.
Chester swept Christopher 25-11, 25-13 on April 15.
Williams had 12 assists, nine digs, five kills, two blocks and an ace. Paige Vasquez had five kills, four aces and seven digs. Mabry Wingerter served four aces and Jordyn Buskohl had four blocks.
Chester posted a 25-20, 25-19 win over Zeigler-Royalton on April 13.
The Lady Jackets are eyeing a Black Diamond Conference title with games April 20 at Goreville and April 22 at home against Trico. Trico’s only conference loss this year was to Chester.
Chester beat Wesclin 25-19, 25-18 on April 12. Reese Chandler had ten digs, five kills and a block. Kendall Williams had 18 assists and a block. Josie Kattenbraker had seven kills and Mabry Wingerter registered nine digs. Chandler and Emma Eggemeyer both served aces.
Chester dismantled Vienna 25-12, 25-12 on April 8.
Willaims had 15 assists and nine digs. Chandler had nine digs and three aces. Kattenbraker and Paige Vasquez each delivered five kills. Peyton Clendenin served three aces and Lauren Soellner had two blocks.
The Lady Jackets posted a 25-19, 25-21 win over Okawville April 6.

It took three games, but the Lady Jackets lost their first game, a non-conference match to Gibault on April 7. Chester won the first match 25-20, but Gibault won the final two games 25-9 and 25-8.
Chester beat Valmeyer 26-24, 24-26, 25-15 on April 5.

Vasquez had 11 kills. Williams had 19 assists and four blocks. Chandler had 18 digs, and Kattenbraker had 15 digs and six kills.

Chester beat Madison 25-8, 25-7 on March 31.
The Chester Lady Yellow Jackets opened the spring volleyball season with a three-game win over Sparta, 21-25, 25-16, 25-20.
After dropping the first game, Chester rallied with two wins. Paige Vasquez had 12 kills and 11 digs. Reese Chandler had six kills and Lauren Soellner had six blocks. Kendall Williams had 18 assists and nine digs. Chandler and Josie Kattenbraker also had nine digs each. Kattenbraker, Vasquez and Mabry Wingerter each served two aces each.
Chester beat Zeigler-Royalton 25-9, 25-13 on March 18.
Williams recorded 19 assists and five aces. Chander had seven kills. Vasquez had four aces and three digs. Peyton Clendenin also had three digs.
Chester has also posted wins over Trico, Sesser-Valier, Goreville and Vienna.

The Jackets beat Sesser 25-21, 25-16 on March 27. Chandler had 12 digs, seven kills and two aces. Kattenbraker had five kills. Williams had 16 assists, Vasquez seven digs and Soellner three blocks.

Chester beat Goreville 25-14, 25-7 on March 25. Williams had 13 assists and four aces. Chandler had five kills and four aces. Vasquez had five kills and four digs. Katie Shinabargar had five kills and Soellner three blocks.

Chester beat Trico 25-15, 25-14 on March 30.

Chester swept the season series from Sesser with a 25-19, 25-15 win on April 1. Wiliams had 17 assists and seven aces. Kattenbraker had 12 digs and two blocks. Vasquez had seven kills and seven digs. Chandler had six kills and Soellner two blocks.

Spring volleyball is unique this year after the IHSA suspended team sports in the fall.
