CCSI Students Place In SkillsUSA Event

Several Chester High School students placed in the recent Illinois SkillsUSA State Competition.
Brock Vasquez placed second in welding, with Jacob Werner, fourth; Bradley Ruch, fifth; Haydan Gendron, seventh; Gage Garniss, ninth; and Shane Hayman, 11th.
In automotive, Camdyn Shemonic was sixth and Matt Murray seventh.
The Chester students competed through CCSI where they receive their technical-vocational schooling.
