The Chester Lady Yellow Jackets posted their first win of the season with a dominating 11-1 win over Gibault on May 12.

Chester scored four runs in the first and four runs in the third inning to short-game Gibault.

Kylie Fortner had a double, single and three stolen bases, scoring two runs.  Emma Eggemeyer had a hit, two stolen bases and two RBIs. Paige Vasquez had a hit, two runs scored and two stolen bases.  Anna Childs had a double and an RBI, Alexis Eggemeyer had a triple and Zoey Frazer had a hit, stolen base and an RBI. Katie Shinabarger had a double and two RBIs.  Camrynn Howie also had a hit. Liberty McCormick scored two runs and stole a base.
Emma Eggemeyer was credited with the victory for Chester. She surrendered no hits over three scoreless innings, striking out four. Shinabargar threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Chester didn’t commit a single error in the field. Frazer had the most chances in the field with five.
