The Chester Lady Yellow Jackets watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 12-2 loss to Trico on May 17.
Emma Eggemeyer took the loss for Chester.
Ashlyn Colvis led Chester with three hits in three at-bats. Anna Childs, Emma Eggemeyer, Kinsli McCartney, Zoey Frazer and Katie Shinabargar also had hits.
Chester lost to Carbondale 13-3 on May 19.

Chester took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Katie Shinabargar doubled home two runs.

Carbondale pulled away for good with seven runs in the second inning.
