Free Clothing At Leos Lair In Sparta

Haley Hoskin, Sting Reporter

Looking for winter apparel that is not crazy high in price — or no price at all? Then come to the Sparta Lion’s Club on Saturday, Nov. 20, from 8am to 12pm. The Sparta Leos are having a Leo Lair Open House there. There will be free clothes, shoes, dresses, and more for free. If you have extra items that no one wears anymore, you can drop them off as well.
The Leos are an organization of Sparta High School students ages 12-18 who support the community. The sponsors are members of the Lions club in Sparta.
The lair gives out donated clothes, shoes, apparel, bags, toys, household items, and more for people of all ages. Everything there is free to everyone. There are no restrictions on residence, age or income.
The Lair started at Sparta’s Elementary School and now has ended up at the Lions Club Hall. The Leos are hoping that they could eventually own their own place in the community.
Please bring your own bags or boxes when coming.
The Lion’s Club is located at 510 W. Belmont, next to the fairgrounds.
