Chester High School senior running back Jordan Merideth was an honorable mention selection on the Illinois Coaches Association all-state football team.
Merideth was also one of six players named to the All-South football team. The other five players are Isaac Jany, Jacob Cowell, Dylan Kelkhoff, Ethan Stumpe and Aiden Jany. Fourteen Chester players were named to the All-Cahokia Conference team. Named on offense were Merideth, Stumpe, Cooper Eggemeyer, Jerald Copple, Nathan Snyder, Matt James, Aiden Jany and Kelkhoff. Named on defense were Kelkhoff, Cowell, Freddie Alvarez, Shane Bicket, Isaac Jany, Koby Jany and Jared Landeros.
In volleyball, Chester junior Paige Vasquez was also an All-South selection.
