U.S. History Classes See LST 325

Students in Mr. Cowan’s U.S. History classes toured the LST 325 when it docked in Chester as part of the Popeye Parade celebration. The transport ship is an ocean-going vessel capable of shore-to-shore delivery of tanks, amphibious assault vehicles and troops. The Approximately 1,052 LSTs (Landing Ship Tank)  were built for use during World War II.
