The Chester Yellow Jackets staged an impressive comeback at Sparta Feb. 11, wiping out a nine-point deficit on their way to a 56-54 overtime win over the Bulldogs.

With Chester trailing 38-29 entering the fourth quarter, Jared Landersos scored eight of his 15 points in the fourth quarter as the Jackets knotted the game 48-48 after regulation. After being held scoreless in regulation, Chance Mott and Devante Palacio did all of their scoring in overtime, netting three points each, as the Jackets outscored Sparta 8-6.

Copper Eggemeyer hit two three-pointers and finished with ten points. Gavin Schroeder and Trace Fricke scored eight points each. Lucas Thompson contributed six points.

Chester also defeated Trico Feb. 12 in a home game.
