Chester outlasts Hamilton County after 2-hour weather delay.

The Yellow Jackets football team pick up their first win on quite a soggy night. Start time was pushed forward 15 minutes in order to try to get the game in before the fast-approaching storms. At the end of the quarter the Yellow Jackets had a 20-point lead on a 7-yard TD run from Tristin Hobeck, a 42-yard TD pass from Nick Meyer to Ethan Rayburn, and a blocked punt by Ethan Bert that was returned for a touchdown.

In Volleyball

Varsity lost in 2 sets on Tuesday night 25-22 and 25-22 against Trico

They won in 2 sets against Vienna on Wednesday.

 

Golf

Boys Golf placed 2nd in a triangular match with Gibault and Valmeyer .

Jarrett James was medalist with a 36.

 

The cross country teams competed at the Sparta Invitational Tuesday and the Du Quoin Invite on Thursday.
