Yellow Jackets survive late comeback by Vienna to improve to 2-2 on the Season.

On a warm Saturday afternoon the Yellow Jackets beat Vienna 29-24. The Jackets had a stellar first half, ending the half leading 21-0. The game was the tale of two halves. The Eagles stormed back in the second half closing the gap to just 4 points. Meyer was 8-15 passing for 74 yards and a TD. Bollman had 9 rushes for 60 yards and a TD.

 

Volleyball

Last night the Lady Yellow Jackets split on the opening night of the Trico Tournament. The girls lost their first game to Marissa in 2 sets 25-19 and 25-15. The Yellow Jackets stormed back to defeat Okawville 21-18, 23-21, Carlee Weir led the team with 36 assists on the night. Lauren Welge led the team with kills at 7, while Lauryn Vasquez led the team with 3 aces on the night.

 

In golf, the boys won a match in Sparta Monday. Jarrett James was the medalist. They play at Trico Friday.
