Sparta scored a run in the seventh to post a 4-3 win over Chester May 3.

Chester scored three runs in the third to erase a 2-0 Sparta lead, but Sparta knotted the game in the fourth.

Jesse Heath led Chester with two hits and two stolen bases. Ethan Stumpe had a hit and a stolen base.  Trace Fricke had a hit and Dylan Kelkhoff had an RBI. Kaden Freytag went the distance for Chester, giving up six hits and two earned runs while striking out six and walking only one.

Chester dropped to 4-5 in conference with a 19-2 loss at Wesclin on May 9.
