Luthy, Medford Advance To Sectional
Aubrie Medford and Camryn qualified for sectionals.

The Chester Lady Yellow Jackets Girls’ Golf Team fell to a 22-24 after a 9th place finish at regionals and a win against Trico at home.
The Chester Lady Jackets traveled to Carlyle on September 29th for their regional tournament. The Lady Jackets shot a team score of (427), tying with Gibault (427) and putting them at 9th place out of 13 teams. Camryn Luthy led the Jackets and placed 5th overall with a score of 86 (+14). Aubrie Medford placed 10th as an individual with a score of 95 (+23). Aubrie and Camryn will both advance to the sectionals tournament as individuals. Other Varsity Girls scores were as follows: Macy Bert 113 (+41), Addy Gottschammer 133 (+61), Jessica Stumpe 137 (+65), and Rylie Myers 140 (+68).
The Chester Girls competed at home against Red Bud and Trico on September 27th in their final home match. The Lady Jackets shot a team score of (198), falling to Red Bud (192), but beating Trico (201). Aubrie Medford led the Lady Jackets and was medalist with a score of 40 (+4). Other Varsity Girls scores were as follows: Camryn Luthy (+11), Macy Bert 53 (+17), Jessica Stumpe 58 (+22), Rylie Myers 66 (+34), and Addy Gottschammer 72 (+40)
Aubrie Medford and Camryn Luthy will compete at sectionals for a chance to advance to State on October 3rd at Salem.
